Biograd holiday resort San Antonio (Northern Dalmatia)

 

 

Biograd is situated 30 km South-East from Zadar, on the nice peninsula and in front of lot of islands. Once a crown seat of Croatian kings. Here was in the year 1102 coronated first Croatin-Hungarian king Coloman.

 

 

Later Biograd was total tear down. Today is a well-know tourist and  nautical center. The town has ideal size for a spend a vacation. Its surrounded by green-pine forest,  famous bays and inlets, modern yacht marinas, hotels, campings. From Biograd is wondreful view  on to island Pašman, channel and the islands scattered in it.

 

Biograd is situated in the center of the Adriatc coast, which is a promised land for quests who want to enjoy the crystal clear sea in dinamic and interesting vacation. Beaches begin one hundred meters fom the center of the town. For such of quests  here are modern water-sports center with a lot of games, swiming-pool, diving schools, all in the shadow of centuries old pine forest. For those who prefer to be alone we advise the wooded islands in channel.

 

 

 

Here you can find a numerous of restaurants, caffe-bars, Dalmatian wine-cellars with a delicious domestic food, with a life or folk-music. In the middle of summer are such of fun on the famous falk-partys with music,fish and wine. During the night walk by seaside you can enjoy in shoping of traditional and international souvenirs , visiting the museums and exibitions, dancing on the summer-terace, listening  the concerts or spend a time in one of discotheqes.

 

 

 

The most famouse baech in Biograd is Soline. It’s located on the South-East side from centre, in the pine-tree forest. It's long over 1 km, mostly pebbly and partly sandy. On the beach are open swimming-pool, caffe-bars, with sport yards facilities, hire of sports and water-games equipment. On the swimming-pool are evening concerts of pop and classic music, or waterpolo games.

 

 

The second beach is Bošana, and it’s located on the Northen side from centre. This beach is gravelly and shallow. Close to the beach is a few caffe-bars.
