Situated in a peaceful valley, Bozava is a pleasant tourist destination. It is a village and small harbour on the north-eastern coast of the island of Dugi Otok (Long Island), next to the rather uncultivated Bozava field.
It is the most developed seaside resort on the island, with a hotel complex and several catering establishments. The low coast, consisting of limestone, is surrounded by a pine forest.

Bozava - Beaches :
One of the Bozava beaches, the Hotel beach, is spreading along the coast and because of its smoothly rocks it is ideal place for sunbathing. Nearby Bozava hotels there is the Nun´s beach situated in a bay which is covered with small pebbels.
The most famous in Bozava is the Saharun beach which is well-known by its white sand and 400 m long shallow sea.

The place dates back to 1327. Ruins of fortification walls from Illyrian times and ruins of Roman buildings can be seen. The parish church is believed to be from the 9th century, whereas sv. Nikola church in the cemetery is from the 9th or 10th century.
