Jadranovo is a harbor, and seaside resort on the coast of Mala Vrata (Small Gate) in the Tihi Kanal (Still Channel), between Kraljevica and Crikvenica, opposite of the northernmost part of the island of Krk, which is the closest to the mainland.
Chief occupations are farming, fishing and tourism. The most spacious shore (Havisce cove) houses a bungalow complex. Jadranovo is connected with the Adriatic main road (M2, E65).

Jadranovo - History and Cultural Heritage:
A great number of broken amphorae have been found in the Lokvišće bay, what points to the existence of a small port and warehouse (wine and oil manufacture). In the 8th and 9th century, this area has been inhabited by Croats from the northern Dalmatia. In more recent days (the beginning of the 20th century), St. Jacob has been a town of fishermen and masons, with first guests arriving in 1935. Since then, the town has been a growing tourist destination with a great number of regular guests.
